We spoke to journalist Ntombi Mkandhla on being a woman and foreign national living in South Africa.
Ntombi Mkandhla is a Zimbabwean woman (shout-out to Bulawayo!) currently living in Johannesburg. She is a BAHons Journalism and Media Studies graduand from the University of the Witwatersrand and currently cutting her teeth as a multimedia intern at frayintermedia.
This discussion follows Ntombi's insight into her experience as a black woman, specifically in relation to colourism and being a Zimbabwean foreign national.
Ntombi's sister Sindi joins in and speaks on her experiences with micro-aggressions as a black woman living in Germany.
